High School Teacher Allegedly Paid Student to Kill Her Husband
A high school teacher in Columbus, Ohio, is facing serious charges after allegedly hiring a student to murder her soon-to-be ex-husband.
According to police, Stephanie Demetrius, 44, offered the teen $2,000 for the crime and even paid a $250 down payment! Investigators found shocking digital evidence, including recorded calls where she discussed the hit!
So, how did she get caught? The student’s MOM checked his phone and immediately called the police.
During a virtual hearing, a public defender for Demetrius denied the charges, calling it a fabrication.
Demetrius has been released on a $150,000 cash surety bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 11 at 9 a.m.
